I took a physical education class in this week. I took the class about yoga in 6.G and also taught two simple yoga poses for the children.
1) Crescent moon pose (Urdhva Hastasana)- Crescent Moon pose deeply stretches and opens the sides of the body and improves core body strength, balance and concentration. Half moon strengthens the ankles and knees, improves circulation and energizes the entire body.
2) Chair pose (Utkadasana)- It is a strengthening and heat-building asana that brings all parts of your body together into a cohesive and powerful whole.
The second half of this week was filled with enthusiasm, energy happiness and festivity. The school annual day was conducted on 12th and 13th of January. The school was getting ready for the programme and everybody was in a rush. There were different music being played every nook and corner of the school and practice for the cultural programmes were going on seriously. There were students dancing and practicing for the annual day in a side.
The title of the annual day was "Jubilium". We were all very busy during the annual day. We visited many classrooms and helped many of the teams to get ready for the programmes. We helped them with their makeups and costumes and we even helped them with the choreography. It was a wonderful experience. A small canteen stall was installed for the refreshments only for the annual day. Along with the children we also bought some ice cream.
